LoveFilm Review

In this article I'm going to look at the DVD rental service LOVEFILM and examine the pros and cons of the service.

My girlfriend recently signed up for their free trial to see what all the fuss was about and so we could get some films we had both been wanting to see.
So far the service has been really good with lots of choice, excellent prices, speedy delivery of the disks and no hassles. The only thing we could complain about is that one disk - a really old film - did pause momentarily, but after a bit of a clean, continued with no problems.

The only con, and something to keep in mind is that LoveFilm uses throttling to make sure customers comply with their "fair usage" policy (applies to unlimited plans only).
What this means is that they slow down the delivery of disks to high-volume users. This "fair usage" policy means all customers get a similar service.

The Service

LOVEFILM DVD rental claim to have every DVD ever released in the UK which when you think about it, is quite an accomplishment. They have over 65,000 titles which really sets them apart from their competition.

The process besically works like this:
1. You create a film list online
2. LOVEFILM sends out your DVDs via free first class post.
3. You watch your films and return them when you like with no late fees.
4. Return the disks to get more via Pre-Paid return envelopes.
