The two most important things you need to consider when ordering flowers online are delivery time and delivery cost.
Flower delivery is usually very fast and delivered by courier - but if you want them delivered same-day, you need to make sure to choose a florist that offers this option. Even if a florist provides this service it is important to check the earliest delivery date on the product page. A product may be out of stock or (especially during busy periods like Valentine's Day) may be delayed due to the large number of orders.
As far as cost goes, some florists offer free delivery where as others charge a substantial delivery fee. Be aware though, the cost of delivery may be built into the purchase price of the flowers if the florist is offering free delivery.
Some companies such as Next Flowers offer a slower method of delivery called postal flowers. If the delivery isn't urgent and you don't need to ensure they arrive on a certain day, you can send them through the post. The usual method is via Royal Mail First Class and can arrive within 2 working days, although there is no guarantee. This can be a cheaper option but also less reliable.
